Bio
Medellín, Colombia
From Medellín to the world. DJ, producer and pianist Mexes has played across Colombia and abroad: E1 London, Pacha Barcelona, Art Madrid, Lula Club, Soles Bar in Punta Cana and Space Miami.
The sound blends house, Latin groove, jazz and minimal: heavy basslines, vibrant melodies and an energy that can transform any dance floor. Mexes has shared the stage with Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers and Joseph Capriati at events like The BPM Festival, Buena Vida Beach and Circoloco Colombia, and has played the biggest weeks in electronic music: ADE in Amsterdam, Off Sónar in Barcelona (twice) and Miami Music Week.
Resident at Club Bora Bora in Medellín and at Buena Vida Beach festival in Cartagena, founder of Initium and co-CEO of Alog Entertainment, an electronic music events company in Medellín since 2005. Releases on labels such as BH Records, Arcila Records, Witty Tunes and Deep Disco Music.
“Music is more than a career: it’s a way of life.”
